Solving Biological and Medical Problems
Graduate students play a critical role in the success of the Bioengineering Department. They not only advance their own research interests in collaboration with our faculty, but they serve as mentors and teachers to our undergraduate student population. Being at the forefront of bioengineering education, we want to keep recruiting the best graduate students to complement our world-renowned faculty.
We are proud to share that we are often the top choice for many graduate students, but we want to ensure that once they arrive, they get the resources they need to solve the world’s most critical biological and medical problems, attend the relevant conferences to showcase their work, and develop their skills to succeed in their careers.
Throughout our history, our focus has been on cancer, cardiovascular diseases, metabolic disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases. We’ve been at the forefront of some amazing breakthroughs over time.
